“How can I live without you, how can I live with only just the memories…”

“With or Without You” is one of the final chapters in the story that finds him lying unconscious in a hospital bed without much hope of recovery. As she sits by his side, she realizes that despite everything – all the sorrow and pain, she knows that she really does not want to live without him and wonders if she even can.

Verse 1:
Did I ever give you enough?
Did I ever tell what you mean to me?
Did I ever show my smile from that place - where I hide?

B verse:
We breathe as one on one tonight
Our thoughts are all in line
Tomorrow’s yet another life
When you say goodbye

Chorus:
Can I Live Without You
How can I live - with only just the memories
I watch you dream – and cry myself to sleep thinking
I’m with or without you...

Verse 2:
How can I give you more than my love
How can I keep you safe here in my arms
How can I hold you close and keep with me forevermore

B verse:
You travel down this road alone
I’m right here by your side
Someone may come to take you home
Till then, we’ll find a place to hide
