Biography

SCHOOL BOY CRUSH has been a well-known name in the midwest entertainment scene since the mid-80's.
The group released it's first full-length CD, "Electric Playground" (Criminal Records -1989) w/ singer Rance Crane, & bassist Mike Champlin. The 2nd release (Schoolboy Crush - 1992) by the foursome of founding members, Mark Lieberman(lead guitar) & Rusty Scutt(drums), Don Saint-Thomas(Vocals/Keyboards), & Jeff Ellison(bass) quickly became a huge seller thoughout the midwest. The power-balled "Without You" scored the band radio play in several radio markets around the US.

Record crowds from north Michigan to south Florida kept S.B.C. on a relentless touring schedule all the way up through the mid 90's, until the lineup decide to call it quits to pursure other ventures.

In 2005, the recordings from the 1992 self-titled release, (Schoolboy Crush) were re-mastered & released w/ bonus track "To Your Knees" on CD in Australia, by Aussie label "Sun-City Records".

Then in 2009, due to a popular demand, SCHOOL BOY CRUSH (Saint-Thomas,Lieberman, Scutt, & Ellison) thrilled a packed house in it's hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana with a stunning live performance, sharing the bill with long-time friends & fellow Indy rockers, SWEET FA.

Since then, the overwhelming response has prompted the guys to reunite to "take it to a another level".
All new songs, all new recordings, accompanied with a powerhouse live stage show; SCHOOL BOY CRUSH is "Back in Business" in 2011!
