Bluegrass Holy Land
Release Date: March 1, 2024

The Relentless Bluegrass of Marty Falle: Horse racing has the Triple Crown, and baseball has its prestigious “batting the cycle,” but the music industry has yet to coin a phrase that captures the improbability of releasing three original chart-topping albums in a single year. If they did, Marty Falle, Bluegrass singer/ songwriter would wear the badge of honor for 2023 for "Kentucky Bluestar", "My Farm, My Bluegrass" and "Born Again Bluegrass". In 2024, Falle is not breaking stride, and has created 15 new original songs, a project called "Bluegrass Holy Land", released on March 1, 2024.

"Bluegrass Holy Land" is Falle's most unique Bluegrass album to date. The album begins with the emphatic "Holy Ghost Fire" and flows into Appalachia storyland with "Grampa's Jukebox". The album is enhanced with Bluegrass vocalist Caroline Owens. "Never Loved Like This" features a duet with Falle and Owens, followed by Owens soaring soprano on "Cherokee Goddess". Owens joins Falle one more time on the the faith based song "Tiny Angels".

Falle's "Devil's in New Orleans" is an atypical fusion of Kentucky Bluegrass and Cajun. Falle tells a story about a salesman from Kentucky who loses himself in the hedonism of Bourbon Street.

Additional Bluegrass spiritual works like "God Found A Woman" and "Have You Heard The Good Word" augment this powerful musical presentation. In addition, the album delivers bow scorching barn burners - "Rock-Ola Redemption", "Dance in the Hog Trough" and "Irish Wake".

3/1/2024 - Marty Falle "Bluegrass Holy Land" debuts at #1 APD Global Chart for All Genres/All Albums.

3/21/2024 - Marty Falle "Bluegrass Holy Land" at #1 APD Global Chart for All Genres/All Albums for 21 straight days.

About Marty Falle:

History and heritage naturally go hand in hand, and the desire to preserve the former is generally maintained by preserving the latter. Singer, songwriter and musician Marty Falle knows that all too well. His connection to the traditional music of Appalachia was spawned from spending much of his time after graduating from college living in Kentucky, the place where bluegrass was born. From his farm in Eastern Kentucky, he’s thoroughly absorbed the music, culture and influences of that storied region, and in the process, made them his own.

Falle’s producer, Grammy winner Jonathan Yudkin, sums it up succinctly. “Marty seeks stories, history, legends, and paths in creativity… His fresh sound comes from the fact that he is not trying to emulate bluegrass bands of the past or present. Instead, he is creating his songs out of his love of music, unfettered by the influence of other artists. That’s what I enjoy the most about working with him. His songs are always unpredictable and surprising…”

That, then, is the essence of an artist who’s not only impacted by history and heritage, but one who effectively moves those foundations forward as well. He’s an Appalachian original and a dedicated contributor to Americana music in general.
