Biography
A powerhouse band, HUNDRED YEAR FLOOD splits the seams of Rock n Roll. They deliver their original tunes with gut-wrenching honesty and energetic passion. If you haven't seen this amazing band live, you must! They just released their new album, titled, "POISON", which just WON ALBUM OF THE YEAR in the Best of 2009 Santa Fe Reporter. This album was just picked up for distribution to Tower Records/JAPAN and The Wave/JAPAN by LABEL-NAVI/JAPAN. LUCKY DICE MUSIC/NETHERLANDS is also distributiong "POISON" and just brought the band over for a EUROPEAN tour. Legendary music man, TAJ MAHAL, plays on the album "POISON" adding his magical touch on harmonica and guitar to their tune, "Hell or High Water". Soulful songstress, Shannon McNally, also joins the band for the stirring and unforgettable trio, "Neck of the Woods".
Singles from"POISON" are already being played on the radio internationally in Scotland, The Netherlands, House of Mercy radio broadcasting on Radio 6 Internat'l heard in 157 countries, London, France, Germany, Belgium, New Zealand, Australia and many cities and towns across the U.S. "POISON" number 8 on the Euro Americana Charts in it's first couple of months out.

A brand new album recorded at Frogville Studios in Santa Fe, NM will be released soon. Hundred Year Flood also just made a action packed music video for the new un released single, "SUNSHINE", which is going to be released Fall 2009.
During an interview on Austin radio station, KGSR, Charlie Sexton (lead guitarist for Bob Dylan, badd ass producer and songwriter) said Hundred Year Flood was one of his favorite bands. They have shared stages with Public Enemy Bassist- Brian Hardgroove, Charlie Sexton, Son Volt to a sold out house, Texas legend Joe Ely, Dave Alvin, Nanci Griffith, Mary Gauthier, James McMurtry to a sold out house, funk legend George Clinton, Ozomotli, Patrice Pike, Blue Mountain and many more. They also joined funk master, Bootsy Collins and Public Enemy Bassist, Brian Hardgroove on a tune that is on a Bootsy Collins compilation CD with many artists including Charlie Daniels.
