Mountain Fever Records is excited to announce the release of Mason Via’s newest single with the label, “Hey Don’t Go.” This country americana fusion confronts people changing, but love staying the same. Via explores the concept of letting go in a fitting, upbeat, song that perfectly introduces his solo career to the Nashville music scene. Jovial songs of growth catalog his songwriting style and tie with his fun stage presence, causing Via to take the budding Nashville bluegrass scene by storm.

Via says, “Hey Don’t Go," this song reminds me of springtime, and the seasonal shifts that surround our lives. Understanding that there are some fates too strong to question, and some paths that may fork in the process. That feeling of knowing its been over for a while, but never wanting it to end. In true bluegrass style, it has a light-hearted melody over a heavy-hearted story.”

The track features Mason on lead vocal and acoustic guitar; Barton Davies and Oliver Craven on harmony vocals; Joshua Quimby on harmony vocal and resonator guitar; Cory Walker on banjo; James Kee on mandolin; Mark Raddabaugh on drums; Geoff Saunders on bass; Griffin McMahon on Rhodes piano and keyboards; Lyla Portnov on harmonica; Neil Jones on pedal steel; Nate Leath on fiddle; and Charlie Chamberlain on electric guitar. The song was co-written by Barton Davies of Boy Named Banjo, and features Joshua Quimby and Nate Leath.

We hope you enjoy this incredible new track from Mason Via and add it to your playlist today!

Sincerely,
Mountain Fever Records
