Portia Young; Songwriter, Psalmist and Teacher brings it back again, but not too soon following her incredible cd release "I'm Ready Now". This one comes with the smooth Eastern sounds of Christmas and Holiday Cheer. Her Holiday Release entitled, “CHRISTMAS, A VERY SPECIAL TIME OF THE YEAR” is all about setting the atmosphere for a time to enjoy family and friends as we reflect on the Birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

After touring for 23 nights of Christmas concert in beautiful Italy, Portia returned home with a strong sense of Christmas and a desire to publish songs that would help to bring forth the reality of the Savior born. Portia’s own unique arrangement of Christmas favorites as well as her own original compositions makes this CD good listening.

In launching of her holiday release, Portia appeared on CBS 2 “Holiday Songs” Christmas Special. The title song: Special Time of the year receives regular radio airplay on Chicago’s Gospel station AM 1390 during the holiday season.
