The Bear Pickins Band is proud to announce the release of their first Gospel CD, titled WE PICK GOD. This CD is made up of some old time favorite Gospel Hymns and includes a couple special songs. One called 'Look A Little Closer In The Mirror' was written by their very own member Marilyn Rakes. The soul searching song helps you see what you see in the mirror, but also reflects Gods' light shining through you. The other is one of the bands favorite heartfelt song to sing, "Hanging On A Nail' written by James Payne. The beautifully written words of this song show the path to Heaven is through Jesus' death on the cross.
This release marks the bands second CD, with hopes that they create a fan base that would like to see them continue to bring joy and entertainment through their music.
