Abijah is one of the most versatile artists to come out of Jamaica in years. But as with any singer in the competitive world of Kingston, he’s expanding his team to keep his sounds at the forefront of the bubbling & crowded Jamaican music scene. In fact, the title track of his new album “Moving 2 the Top” is about that very struggle.
Abijah’s first, very original demo: “Revelation” hit #1. It’s remixed on the new album, featuring Beenie Man. The Raconteurs are a new band made up of old friends, consisting of Jack Lawrence (bass), Patrick Keeler (drums), Brendan Benson (guitars, vocals, keys) and Jack White (guitars, vocals, keys). The seed was sown in an attic in the middle of a hot summer when friends Jack White and Brendan Benson got together and wrote a song that truly inspired them. This song was “Steady, As She Goes” and the inspiration led to the creation of a full band with the addition of Lawrence and Keeler. While each of these four individuals have had successful careers with their own bands, the culmination of all of their talents is what truly makes The Raconteurs a force to be reckoned with.

A Beer Drinkin’, Hell-Raising, Guitar Playin Madman. Zakk Wylde has been Ozzy’s lead guitarist for the last twenty years and is the Godfather of the Black Label Society. “The Shape of Light” by the award winning Jeff Ball Band will be on the upcoming ballot in the New Age category for this year’s Grammy nominations. This is a unique soothing and meditative release built around Jeff Ball’s Native American Flute playing and the Hang Drum, (a recently invented - melodic and rhythmic metal hand drum that resembles a flying saucer). Hang playing is by Percussionist Ted Natale and guest band member Ron Kravitz.

Geoff Brown (British) was a professional musician in the mid-1960’s founding several professional bands and laying claim to have ‘discovered’ two world famous drummers: Carl Palmer of Emerson, Lake and Palmer and Mel Gaynor of Simple Minds, whose first professional bands were playing with Geoff in the King Bees and Muscles respectively.
Geoff has recorded 3 albums and numerous singles with his various line-ups as a lead vocalist and keyboard player. Geoff has lived in Los Angeles for the past 4 years and was inspired to write these songs as a humorous observation on the very different Christmas holiday he has enjoyed in Los Angeles.

Elizabeth Butler and Suzanne Comeaux Bucher, the members of Running Home, met twelve years ago as church musicians in their congregation’s folk/contemporary choir. They quickly recognized their common love for different styles and genres of music, and began writing and singing songs together. The CD project “Running Home” was started about six years ago, and was recorded in between kids’ soccer games, surgeries and illnesses, and family life in general. They never gave up on the project and on their dream, and are thrilled to release their first CD together.
