“All Things Digital Country” Artist Contest

Throughout the month of June AirPlay Direct, Airplay Specialists Radio Promotion and Webster & Associates PR will be co-sponsoring AirPlay Direct’s first FREE “All Things Digital Country” artist promotion contest for our artist/label members.

We will be awarding one Grand Prize package, winner takes all. The winning song/artist will receive the Grand Prize package which will include a 14 week digital radio promotion campaign from Airplay Specialists Radio Promotion, a national press release announcement of the winner by Webster & Associates PR and a premier “Featured Artist” advertising package from AirPlay Direct. Bill Wence is a writer, picker, singer and above all, a music lover. Living in Los Angeles in the mid-60’s and in the Northwest, and in Alaska in the late 60’s, he played music in clubs and shows, as well as getting his start in radio and TV. During this period, Bill was booking shows in Alaska and brought Bobby Bare, Charlie Rich, Ernest Tubb and others to the Capital city.

Bill moved to Nashville in 1973 and went on the road playing piano with Tom T. Hall. As a writer, Bill has had Billboard cuts by Ronnie McDowell, Cristy Lane, Bobby G. Rice, Orion and others. He had four selfpenned, self-produced and self-promoted Billboard singles in 1979-80.
