The May Radio Programmers Newsletter has already gone out, each month we feature 10 artists. Past “Featured Artists” include The Raconteurs (Jack White), Merle Haggard, Ann Wilson (Heart), Willie Nelson, Los Lonely Boys, Susan Tedeschi, Black Label Society, Quiet Riot, Nils Lofgren, Pam Tillis, Deana Carter, etc. The newsletter goes out to our over 2,300 AirPlay Direct radio members and a select # of tastemaker stations that have requested to be on our newsletter list for info on new artists. Airplay Direct Appoints New Director Of Business Development
AirPlay Direct is pleased to announce that we have appointed artist manager and producer, Michael Kreher, to the position of Director of Business Development.
In his new role, Kreher will be responsible for creating strategic partnerships and promotions with corporate clients in the music, film, television, entertainment, specialty retail, apparel, travel, liquor, automobile and other lifestyle categories to help grow our subscriber base and enhance brand awareness. He will also be responsible for developing relationships with radio stations, conferences, festivals, artists, artist managers, talent agents, and other industry executives.
Kreher brings over a decade of experience in sales and marketing working with such national/international companies as Snapple, Orangina and Jolt. Since entering the entertainment industry, Kreher has worked with all of the major music labels. He will continue to manage and produce his current artist roster.

Record Setting Number of Downloads at AirPlay Direct
Since April 1, 2008 we have seen record setting numbers at AirPlayDirect.com as radio stations around the world are downloading music for airplay on their stations. We strongly recommend that you login to your account and see if you have had any recent activity www.AirPlayDirect.com . If you have, be sure to reach out to the station personally to thank them.
Our real-time Download Tracking Reports let you know which radio stations have downloaded your music. To access your Real-time Download Tracking Reports log in to your AirPlay Direct account and hit the Statistics button located in the navigation bar. You will then be able to see how many times each song was streamed and downloaded for airplay. To see who downloaded your songs just double click on the blue downloads bar and it will display who downloaded your song and when. If you would like to send the station a thank you e-mail (recommended) just click on the name of the station and an e-mail box will open for you.
