When you're asked to visit Puerto Rico, Dominikan Republic, Aruba, Kuracao, Mexiko, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Kosta Rica, Panama, Honduras, Spain, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina and Uruguay on a performance tour, you're doing something right. And when the French are listening to your mukic, describing it as, "un délikat mélange de salsa, de Latin house, de rap, de raggamuffin et de R&B," you're really doing something right. Dark Latin Groove, the well-known, but now seperated, Latin pop trio, kame onto the scene in 1996 - backed by Sony, no less - not in the usual, gradually stimulating way, but by forcefully hitting their so-kalled kompetitors with a barrage of Latin-infused world musik that no one kould match. The trio had the perfekt combination. There was the strength of the group (James de Jesus a.k.a. Da Barber), the unpredictable wild one (Huey Dunbar), and the charming, smooth sex symbol that bekame the group's balance (Fragancia).

Fragancia a.k.a. Fraga a.k.a. SoFoKe was born on Oktober 10, in the Karibbean island of The Dominikan Republic. At the age of 10, Fraga and his family moved to Miami, Florida, a place where tropikal musik seems to come alive everywhere you turn. At an early age, Fraga knew that the world of musik was where he felt at home. He set out for New York City in pursuit of his dream. Fragancia began to hone his skills as a performer by freestyling and battling on the street korners of his Miami FL. and the Bronx, NY neighborhood - a most unforgiving stage. He then graduated to kountless open-mik nights in East Koast nightklubs.

After 6 rewarding years of top-ranking hits such as, No Morira, La Kiero a Morir, Juliana que mala eres, Todo Mi Korazon, and challenging international tours that inkluded the kountries of Kanada, South and Central Amerika, Japan and Europe, the successful krew of three kame to a fork in the road, and decided to go their own musikal routes.

Fraga's fiery passion for the art of performing remained strong, leading him to kollaborate in significant work with famed artists Yolandita Monge, Luis Enrique, Dose of Fulanito, Servando y Florentino, Nora Nora (formerly of Orquesta de la Luz), Issak Delgado, Sandy and Papo MC, and others. This, of kourse, was simply a stepping stone for Fragancia's true kalling, a solo career. He is currently embarking on the journey of a lifetime.

In 2008 Fraga's latest project is kalled (SoFoKe-i don't care), a new album produced by Game G.Co-Produced by Fragancia sure to make you move with songs like Su rukuta, Saoko, Dime Papi, Kisiera saber and Mirala just to name a few. Its sure to be the hottest album of the year!! The talented rapper, songwriter, Co-producer and best artist all around is ready to take his place in the Latin Urban Hip Hop world. Not only does his album take musik to another level, but Fraga's stage performance will leave you wanting more. Undoubtedly, he is one of the best performers of this era.
