AIRPLAY DIRECT/POWDERFINGER PROMOTIONS "WIN A JAZZ RADIO STATION PROMOTIONAL PACKAGE" CONTEST



AirPlay Direct is proud to partner with Powderfinger Promotions, one of the top independent jazz radio promotion companies in the United States, to offer a chance for AirPlay Direct Jazz Artists to win a prize package valued at $4,500.

This call is open only for JAZZ GENRE and it is FREE TO SUBMIT your music. There are only three simple requirements:

  1. You must be a paid AirPlay Direct artist / label member.
  2. CD or EP must have been released no earlier November, 2011.
  3. You must submit your AirPlay Direct DPK to office@airplaydirect.com prior to the official entry deadline of March 31, 2012.

Powderfinger will offer the Winner:

  • 6 week Radio Promo Campaign through Powderfinger Promotions
  • Promotion to Approximately 200 Jazz Stations across the U.S. for 6 weeks
  • Weekly Tracking Reports

AirPlay Direct will offer the Winner:

  • A Featured “Going for Adds” Banner Appearing on the Home Page, Artist Landing Page, Radio Landing Page and Charts Landing Page for Two Weeks
  • Followed by a “Spotlight Artist” ad that will also Run for Two Weeks
  • Featured Placement in the APD E-Blast to our over 7,200+ Radio Station Programmers Globally
  1. The contest is open to all paid artist members of AirPlay Direct.
  2. All entrants must have an EP or Album that was released no earlier than November 2011.
  3. All entrants must be able to supply three songs for judging and supply digital files of their winning music to Powderfinger Promotions in whatever file type they request (WAV or mp3@320kbps).
  4. The winner must also be able to supply some CDs of EP or album as some prominent jazz stations are still not accepting digital files.
  5. If you cannot deliver any CDs to Powderfinger it will diminish the reach and success of the promotion.
  6. Powderfinger Promotions will supply all of the address labels, return address labels and a sticker that will include focus tracks, their logo and other relevant information that the winner can use in sending out the CDs required to the radio stations.
  7. The winner would be responsible for the cost of shipping the CDs.
  8. The winner will also have to supply a radio one sheet for Powderfinger to include with your digital files or CDs that are shipped.
