Pioneer
Well, it ain’t about how far I got
But where I started from
I was raised up in a country home
Wearing second-hand clothes
And the nearest town was far away
Beyond the railway
I could hear the whistle of the train
While I counted the airplanes
Flying over my head
And I promised myself
Someday I’d be there
I have tried to be a PIONEER
Life is a race
That I’m running my way
I will try to be a PIONEER
With dreams to be chased.
I know I’m halfway there
Halfway there

Well I spent my childhood on a swing
Talking with the trees
Then the nest became too small for me
I was ready to leave
So I’ve studied, I’ve travelled
and made the right friends
Along the way
It seemed crazy back then
But somehow I felt
It would fall into place
it took efforts and pain
And I’ve tested myself
I have been restless
I have tried to be a PIONEER…

Do what you love, love what you do
Do what you love, love what you do
I have tried to be a PIONEER…
