She Dances with My Heart
She Dances with My Heart

She’s got God in her pocket halos for two eyes
She’s sweet as cotton candy on the fourth of July
She scratches our initials in the backyard dirt
Then scuffs it with her sneakers, yea that girl’s a flirt
Golden drops of sunshine settle in her hair
Her kisses bring me joy like the County fair
She acts like she’s a rebel but I just don’t care
She dances with my heart

She likes cold Coca-Cola the sugar cane kind
She offers me a sip but then she changes her mind
She hangs out with the boys around the neighborhood
But wears a dress as easy as a model would
You can try to change her if you’re one to dare
But that’s been tried before so you best beware
She acts like she’s a rebel but I just don’t care
She dances with my heart,

She dances with my heart, she dances with my heart,
she dances with my heart, she dances with my heart

You can try to change her if you’re one to dare
But that’s been tried before so you best beware
She acts like she’s a rebel but I just don’t care, she dances with my heart
She acts like she’s a rebel but I just don’t care, she dances with my heart
