These Chains
These Chains

I’m restrained, I’m held by these chains
I’m in pain, from fighting these chains
Iron sleeves with ropes of links, made up of thoughts inside of me
I can’t move, outside of these chains

I can’t breathe; I’m choked by these chains
No reprieve, forever in chains
Freedom that ran wild in me, is hostage to lock and key
Now I live a life in these chains

Someone see, I’m wearing these chains
Break me free, from out of these chains
Iron sleeves with ropes of links, made up of thoughts inside of me
I can’t live a life in these chains

Someone see, I’m wearing these chains
Break me free, from out of these chains
I can’t breathe; I’m choked by these chains
No reprieve, forever in chains
I’m fighting these chains
