AND ANOTHER THING In the spirit of CSN, three frontmen—in this case Deer Tick’s John McCauley, Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith and Delta Spirit’s Matthew Vasquez—have come together to form Middle Brother. The occasional chance collaborations led the trio to team up in mid-2009 and record Middle Brother’s eponymous debut in Nashville just before their first-ever show, an unannounced appearance (under the moniker MG&V) at 2010’s SXSW.
