Another Side of Home
Used to be I couldn’t wait to hit the highway
Running just for running’s sake alone
Seems to me a different light is shining my way
Now that I’ve found another side of home

Now I long to hear the footsteps on the wood floor
Feel the spirits settled in these stones
I wish the key was turning in the back door
For me that’s just another side of home

Back once again
(Another side of home)
Back where I’ve been
(Another side of home)
Taking me in
Another side of home

It used to be a place for bed and chair and table
Void in spite of everything I own
From the cellar reaching to the highest gable
You showed me another side of home

The curtain moving with the breeze that kissed me
Leaves me with an ache I’ve never known
I’ll wrap your memory in my heart and take you with me
Take you to the other side of home

Back once again
(Another side of home)
Back where I’ve been
(Another side of home)
Taking me in
Another side of home

Back once again
(Another side of home)
Back where I’ve been
(Another side of home)
Taking me in
Another side of home

Used to be I couldn’t wait to hit the highway
