Biography

Well known and respected in the Americana music field, Kevin "Big Kev" Ploghoft has been in the radio industry for over 20 years.

The "Living Room Series" was created to put the artist in a comfortable setting to speak freely and perform as though they were sitting in their own living room with their friends and family.
The results of which are inspiring.

Going into its fifth year, the "Living Room Series" is sure to add the kind of programming true Americana/Roots listeners will enjoy.

The Motel Time Again Series started at the Americana Music Association's Festival/Conference in a small motel room studio in Nashville TN.
These are short interviews and performances with top artists in the Americana format that are not only fun, but enlightening.

Big Kev is a master at making the artist feel at ease and asking straight forward, fun and interesting questions.

Currently he is the Talent Co-ordinator and Content Consultant for WXLV -Roots 90.3 in Schnecksville, Pa., as well as Music Director for Regional Roots Radio.

Big Kev hosts his regular weekly radio program called "The Big Country Revue" Saturday afternoons 1-4pm EST on www.wxlv.org. BK also writes a monthly column for the Artist Development Co-Op called "A Sitdown With the Consilegrie" ( www.ArtistDevelopmentCoOp.com's "Media Guide" ) and writes occasionally for Upstage Magazine an entertainment magazine in New Jersey (www.upstagemagazine.net )

Big Kev is the former Music Director of WDVR-FM in Sergeantsville, NJ (2002-2007) and is the Co-Creator, Co-Prodcucer along with the Artist Development Co Op and host of the Living Room Series radio program that airs on numerous stations.

BK is also a member of The Americana Music Association and sits on the AMA's Radio Task Force committee, in addition to hosting various music events around the country.
