Singer/Songwriter/Producer, The Artist: Joe Jr. Currently at JoRon 2000 Studio recording his new single: “I Don’t Wanna Let You Go” and a classic remake of: “When We Get Married”, made popular by former Sly and The Family Stone Bass Player, Larry Graham.

Multi-talented performer Joe Wright, who is known to many as “The Artist: Joe Jr.” has recorded two successful Cd’s since 2005; Songs of Encouragement Vol’s 1&2, that have garnered radio air play on over 30 international internet radio stations through Airplay Direct. (www.airplaydirect.com/blapoprecords) Since 2007 after forming his vocal trio known as; Joe Jr. and Friends, Joe and his Friends, Kebin Louis Carr and Arlette Carr, have performed at over 35 neighborhood festivals, traveled to Nashville Tennessee, Windom and St. James Minnesota as well as “Six Flags” over St. Louis Missouri.
During June of 2008 Joe and his group had the distinct honor of being the opening act for EMI Gospel Recording Artist; Smokie Norful at a City of Chicago’s Neighborhood Block Club Breakfast for over two thousand participants. In 2010 solo and background vocalist: Kim Baker joined the group. In the spring of 2011 Joe Jr. and Friends are headed to the Southwest region of the United States for a mini tour to Dallas, Houston and Fort Worth Texas and Heading into summer, Joe Jr. and Friends will spend three weeks in Nigeria West Africa at various locations as Music Missionaries.
The Artist: Joe Jr. utilizes his musical skills to compose, sing produce and publish songs addressing: Faith, Family and Fatherhood. The Artist: Joe Jr. parlayed his learning and musical savvy into writing and singing popular jingles through Prophecy Productions, and served as percussionist on the Tom (The Fly Jock) Joyner Morning Show with the Uncle Butchie's Live House Band.
As the original composer of Esquire Magazines exercise video series, "The Great Body Workout", The Artist: Joe Jr. composed the song, "Pray" on the Grammy-nominated CD entitled "Peace in the Neighborhood" by the late Pop Staples of the Staples Singers. Additionally, The Artist: Joe Jr. co-wrote "I Really Love the Lord" with the late Eugene Record, -- a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and former Lead Singer of the Chi-Lites on his last CD," Let Him In".
