The Road
Fork in the road, flip a coin: which way to go?
Heads it’s alone; tails might take you back home
But either way you better love the journey
You may never reach the end of the road

Along the way I met a princess; don’t remember her name.
Full of promise and compassion; to lose her would be a shame.
Time came to make a decision
The coin came up heads; All alone on the road

Had me some friends we lived like we could never die
Lost them to cancer, to love; one thought he could fly
I fell into indecision
I lost the coin somewhere along the road

So much is luck is pure chance it is out of your hands
Or maybe there’s a force of nature that has different plans

Found true religion that never answered my prayers
Found true love didn’t wait at the top of the stairs
Hope I can find a way of living
With out the coin at the fork in the road
