Biography

MANAGEMENT info@shoppamanagement.com or (770) 624 4423 E Hurtem was born Elijah Curtis, and that’s about as much information about his past that you’ll get from him! His ethnicity? Black and Brazilian combine for a unique mixture. His mp3 player has all genres of music on it! At age 17, he created his first beat, based around a sample of a Diana Ross song, and became an instant street banger. As the story goes, he was working on becoming a music producer, one of the greats, when he found that it was necessary to have lyrics exhibited with his tracks for sale. He began writing reference songs so that potential customers would have an idea of how to flow against his unique production. What he found was that many of his customers listened to the reference material and commented that there was nothing they could do to surpass the reference material! He continued to write reference material for his catalog of production, and the more he wrote, the better he got, until finally he saw what everyone else saw from the very first time they heard his lyrics; he was not only a producer, but an extremely gifted artist. Unique to E Hurtem is his ability to create truly real hip hop, credible enough for even die hard New Yorkers to recognize the talent. With production that is a strange amalgamation of his musical taste; which run from Sting to Prince to Daft Punk, the sound is unlike anything else!

"Radio Creds" are votes awarded to artists by radio programmers who have downloaded their music and have been impressed with the artist's professionalism and the audience's response to the new music. Creds help artists advance through the AirPlay Direct community.

Only radio accounts may add a Radio Cred. One week after the track has been downloaded the radio account member will receive an email requesting a Cred for each artist they've downloaded.
