Biography
GodsChild Records is an artist driven Gospel Music recording label whose primary focus is producing high quality material and getting it to the listeners. We operate on a national scale focusing on maximum exposure for our artists. We are a full time music business, so have an ever changing catalog of songs produced in house. We aim for 2 radio releases per year, picking the songs we feel best fit today’s radio market. Out most recent mailing shipped on Jan 25, 2011, and we’ve also got two songs here for your review. They can also be downloaded from the Radio Show section of our www.godschildrecords.com web site. A brief description follows.

Lean On Jesus - Carla Bragg. Using an almost R&B setting, the song fills a gap between Black Gospel and the more Country flavor. An outside production, but a song from our publishing catalog that we felt was deserving of a good listen by radio personalities.

Pentacostal Stomp - Surry County Ramblers. An instrumental recording from our deep catalog. Originally done about 30 years ago, this piano arrangement features a highly intricate melody surrounded by old time music instruments. In some ways, it bridges the gap as we used a Scruggs style banjo pattern instead of the claw hammer style found in old time music.
