My ancestor lineage goes back to Jamestown
Some fought Native Americans for the British Crown
Others joined with Washington to fight the British King
A few with Andrew Jackson went down to New Orleans VERSE
At Gettysburg, the Bulge, and Guadalcanal
Iwo Jima, Saigon, Middle East. etal
You'll find my people, some even still there
When I see those places, I always say a prayer CHORUS
I ain't got a Redneck, got a Red, White and Blue neck
And if you don't like it, you can go straight to hell
I'm not left, I'm not right, when my country's in a fight
I'm proud to have been there in it, as well

They're the real Heroes, they deserve the monuments REPEAT CHORUS
