Milton, FL – May 8, 2017 – Writer and composer, Jerome Weaver, has released his latest album, “Cooling Water: Chill With Me.” Known by fans as Jeasy Weaver and J. “Easy” Weaver, the prolific indie artist has been honing his skill and talent since middle school, culminating in his latest album.
“To write into chords of music to be effective is to compose and produce pure music for listening,” said Weaver.
An avid R&B, Blues, Jazz and Gospel fan, the genres are also Weaver’s chosen way of expressing the music in his soul. The artist has been writing and recording since 2014. He travels frequently throughout the Caribbean seeking inspiration, combining it with his creativity back at his home recording studio.
Released in Jan. of 2017, “Cooling Water” encompasses the sounds of multiple jazz styles, from cool and smooth to Bebop, swing and those that heal the soul. The album has already exceeded the popularity of his debut album, “My Wife,” that topped the Gospel charts. “Cooling Water” has won the respect of those in the music industry and the acclaim of listeners around the world.
“Cooling Water” has something for everyone, from the smoky smoothness of “Tone Poem for Paradise” to the Big Band sound that underlays “Enough Said.” “Dance with Me” is pure romance, while “Emotional Summer” brings to mind the carefree days of youth. For Bebop fans, “It’s Cool Girl” is reminiscent of the teen love songs of the 50s.
