Born in Birmingham, England of Jamaican parents, Keith Coombs - Songs of Heaven considers himself a cultural performing artist and songwriter. At the age of three he began living in Jamaica and presently he works as a business man and Real Estate Broker in Jamaica.

He is somewhat of a diamond in the rough to entertainment though he has performed at a few secular concerts at the University of the West Indies, U.W.I., which he attended and at various gospel/church related events and services afterwards. At Excelsior High School he played the trombone and the clarinet in the school band.

He seeks to entertain by singing uplifting songs, both religious and secular, as he wants to be a positive influence in our society. Being a Christian and a church member has not stopped him from visiting other congregations or religious fellowships. He goes to any Church. In fact anywhere that he is accepted – churches, homes, schools or otherwise.”

As a songwriter he has entitled his music catalogue ‘The Jamaican Cultural Worship Revolution’. Songs like ‘Bob Marley’, ‘My Dream Love (My Wife)’, ‘Move to the Right (aerobics)’, ‘The Hat Song (for kids)’, and ‘Repent it’s 666’ are a few of the songs he would presently like to sing on his upcoming album called “INTRODUCING THE JAMAICAN CULTURAL WORSHIP REVOLUTION”. The name of the catalog takes into account that Keith is comfortable with the Jamaican music culture which embraces a wide variety of genres including Reggae, R & B, Hymns, Dance Hall, Easy Listening, etc

Presently, Keith is working on a song entitled 'Thank You Jesus' which he composed in 2016.

Keith has many favorite acts: He enjoys performing with and listening to the songs of his brother Patrick ‘Cooler’ Coombs. He respect the lead singers of the Manhattans and the Heritage Singers, Luther Vandrous, Whitney Houston, Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Charley Chaplain, Glacia Robinson,.....and the list goes on and on. He relates more to songs rather than specific performers.

Keith believes that everybody knows right from wrong, so as far as he knows the gospel has reached the world to that extent. So look out for some other songs on topics like love, parenting, etc and some controversial ones too – dancing by Christians, etc.

In the year 2000 Keith Coombs started the record label named Songs of Heaven, a name he would use to promote all songs produced by him or for which he has an interest. The name Songs of Heaven Singers would be used to promote group songs produced by the label Songs of Heaven.

May Yahweh, who is affectionately called Jah Jah, continue to bless us all!
