I'm A Ramblin' Man by Larry Stephenson Band Releases to Dj's
New Single by Larry Stephenson Band. "I'm A Ramblin' Man"
Nashville, Tenn. (February 1, 2023) -- Whysper Dream Music proudly announces the new radio single release, “I’m A Ramblin’ Man,” by the multi-award-winning Larry Stephenson Band. The song features Larry Stephenson on lead vocals and mandolin, Nick Dauphinais on guitar and harmony vocals, Derek Vaden on banjo and harmony vocals, and Andy Brown on bass.
“I’m A Ramblin’ Man” was written by Ray Pennington and recorded on Capitol Records. In 1967, the song quickly climbed to #29 on the country charts. In 1974, Waylon Jennings’ version reached #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
"I've always liked this upbeat song. And I wanted to bring back an old familiar from back in the day, not so long ago and give it a bluegrass sound with the old five-string and the vocals we could lend. Not to mention it's a toe-tapper,” said Stephenson.
This is the second single from the band’s upcoming album, Cast, A Lonesome Shadow, releasing later this year. The first single, “That’ll Get Me Through Missouri,” was released late last year, appeared on the Bluegrass Today Weekly Top 20 chart earlier this month, and debuted on the February 2023 Bluegrass Today Monthly Top 20 chart today.
“I’m A Ramblin’ Man” is available to radio programmers via Get It Played, AirPlay Direct, and by request to Whysper Dream Music. Stay tuned for the digital release coming in a few weeks.
