Lori Anderson Bio

As Lori Anderson’s uncle stepped out the back door he was surprised to hear 7-year-old Lori in the back yard singing her heart out. It wasn’t the typical voice of a young girl as she actually sang with the power and talent of a seasoned older singer. She has been amazing her audiences ever since. She began holding monthly talent shows in her neighborhood enlisting all the kids to perform. It became a neighborhood tradition for many years to follow. Eventually this little talent show would become a thriving business for Lori. She started a nonprofit fundraising organization at age 16 putting on free concerts for children’s charities. She was president and founder of the organization for the next 19 years. When she was old enough to start the club circuit she performed with house bands in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Traveling and playing in bars, night clubs, and honky tonks finally lead Lori to Nashville TN where she met independent producer Dick McVey in 1991.
