Poor Boy
I wrote this song with my friend Davis Raines, and recorded on my first CD “Quit Your Job – Play Guitar”. It’s based on an old traditional blues song, but we put our own riffs and lyrics to it. It has become a driving stomping groove song that hypnotizes audiences. This song has a primitive feel. The rhythm section holds it in place and I take it over the top during the solo. Always a crowd favorite when we play it live.
