It was coming on my 20th wedding anniversary (which I never thought would happen to me!). About that time Amy and I had a couple of young lovers ask how we pulled it off. It really started me thinking about what makes a love affair last. The romance of 3/ 4 time was a natural to tell this story. Life and love are carnival rides, after all.
