Quirky, Novelty; Turn of the Century; Vaudville
A quirky vaudevillian tribute to Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers...
Peter Combe says - The song was written in 1978 whilst living in a delightful English village called Darney,20 miles west of London (just off the M4) and a one minute walk from a pub called "The Pineapple." I had just watched a wonderful old Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers movie the night before. Since then I have had a love affair with England and English pubs.
