A song about being a 17 year old punk (one Rich Krueger) in 1977 with his first good girl Catholic girlfriend, his first kiss at his first midnight showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and his unrelenting dreams of sex, (all of which were unfulfilled). A bit of American Pie circa 1977...not the movie the song; just substitute the sex pistols for Buddy Holly, and add more sex. In the honest vernacular of a 17 year old punk.
