About Jamrock
Born and raised in the friendly community of South West St Andrew he began his early childhood education at Balmagie Primary School, Llandewey Primary in St Thomas, Easington All Age in St Thomas, Bull Bay All Age, Harbour View All Age and Camperdown High School.
Ever since his school days he loved music and wrote his first song titled “Pretty Girl” at age 12. this was done while attending Bull Bay All Age.
Based on the lyrics of the song, he was encouraged by the Headmistress of Bull Bay All Age Ms. Edwards to continue on such path.
In 1997, the writing bug in him presented itself with the continuation of his first poem entitled, I the victim of Oppression, which had opened his vision for writing.
He did not limit his ability to writing songs and poems but started singing and deejaying as well which made him a household name.
Krab Walking Jamrock as he is often known as is one of Jamaica’s most listed Dub Poets. He has performed on shows such as Fire 2001-2 at the Market Place in Kingston, Portland Splash 2000 and 2002, Idle Jubilee Bash at the Cactus Night Club, Comedy Jam at the Hylton Hotel and Grandiosa in Montego Bay, Sizzla Birthday Bash, Rasta Revolution and Jaava Jamin Comedy and Music just to name a few.
