Another Minute
He was larger than life, everything a man should be, honest and hard working, provided for his family, a man of his word, he believed in God, and I wish he was still here with me

What I wouldn’t give to be by his side, walking on the old lake road, going to our favorite fishing hole, and all of the stories he would tell, about the way it use to be, you know I’d love to hear them again, Lord what I wouldn’t give for just another minute with him

He would bounce me on his knees, love me as I was, he taught me everything to be the man that I’d become, I hope when he’s looking down, he’s proud of what he sees and that I know where I came from

What I wouldn’t give to be by his side, walking on the old lake road, going to our favorite fishing hole, and all of the stories he would tell, about the way it use to be, you know I’d love to hear them again, Lord what I wouldn’t give for just another minute with him

I hope to have a grandson one day who looks up at me, and sees the kinda man he wants to grow up and be, and that one day when I’ve gone to Heaven he’ll say

What I wouldn’t give to be by his side, walking on the old lake road, going to our favorite fishing hole, and all of the stories he would tell, about the way it use to be, you know I’d love to hear them again, Lord what I wouldn’t give for just another, yeah just one minute would mean the world to me, to be with him, just to be with him
