Dreamin' Of The Sea

Spend my time out on a boat out in the sea
I'm thinking of my girl all the time
and I wonder if she thinks of me
I'm sailing all around the world
and down to Mexico, I'd take her with me
if I could, but they won't let her go

Got more time on my hands than a clock on the wall
I'd spend the summer out on the sea and
I'll be back next Fall
I'd walk all the from Mexico to my girl in Tennessee
cuz I'm thinking of my girl all the time
and I wonder if she thinks of me

It's been a long time since I heard from her
the letter came today, she said we've got a little lad
he'll soon be on his way
and I need you here at home real bad back in Tennessee
You're gonna have to make a choice tween me and the sea

Well I took that pen in my hand and I wrote down these lines
you know I love you dearly and have for a long long time
I'll give up all the things I do for where I should be
and I'll kick back in my easy chair and dream of the sea
I'll kick back in my easy chair and dream of the sea
