Biography
I asked my parents for piano lessons as a child, and after they considered taking me to have my head examined they bought a old upright grand piano and tuned it and I began lessons. This led to piano competitions in high school. But I had been singing in my room along with my records. I entered college on a piano scholarship and began voice lessons, my teached sugested I minor in voice, this led to a change in my major to voice, but after a bad experience with classical repetoire and a restrictive voice teacher, I quit and moved to San Diego. The first band I saw was Holly Penfield on Dreamland Records, and I already knew that this what I wanted to do. After meeting Dave Stewart in LA and we talked about how he and Annie Lennox recorded the Sweet Dreams Album on an 8 track reel to reel themselves in a warehouse, I decided that this was what I wanted to do myself. When I didn't find my own version of Dave Stewart to work with... I got out my hot glue gun, and hot glued meself together and said I'll to it all myself. This led to my first recording setup, and then my certificate in recording engineering, and ultimately to this album... 'A CHANGE IN THE WEATHER'
