Biography
Adrienne is a studio singer, songwriter, vocal arranger, engineer and producer who loves to perform. In college Adrienne recorded many of her original songs in the studios of Berklee College of Music where students sought her out for their class projects. From this exposure she began recording commercial jingles at local recording studios. Adrienne has written and recorded background harmonies for artists like Martin Sexton and McKinley Black. She’s been hired to write music for an educational CD entitled “Staying out of the Risky Zone” and currently performs and has her own recording studio where she records her music and tracks for various songwriters who hire her to arrange and record vocal harmonies for their musical projects.

Adrienne’s voice and songs are reminiscent of artist’s like Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow and Sara McLaughlin. Early in her music career, Adrienne achieved local success in the Metro Boston area both in local clubs and the streets of Harvard Square, Cambridge. After producing her first release, One Step Closer. Her song, “Overboard” became the most requested song that year on Boston radio station WERS. Soon after producing her second release Dust into Dawn, she was nominated for a Boston Music Award and featured in Boston Women Magazine.

After her third release, Looking Within Looking Without, she got heavy airplay on college radio and a feature article in Songtalk published by the National Academy of Songwriters where they called Adrienne, “an enchanting… exquisite talent.” In an article entitled Adrienne – More than Just FolkLore, the live review states, ” There’s a mystical quality in her writing that I’ve seen in few other performers. Iit is beyond me someone this talented has not been signed to a major label record deal.”

Adrienne has written songs and produced CD’s with many artists. Her work with Marsia Shuron Harris of Aye was one of these ventures. Their CD Sweet Life was chosen to be in the top 10 albums of 2000 by The Greenfield Recorder and Aye received stellar reviews in Northeast Performer Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Key West Citizen and Key West The Newspaper, to name a few. Their music has both Folk, Rock and World influences fused with soul. To this day, there are fans of Aye who have bought their 2000 debut CD and still claim it to be one of the few CDs they listen to on a regular basis.

Another very successful collaboration was with singer songwriter David Tortolano in the band INJADE. Their debut CD entitled, Shortcut to the Playground sounds just as good as anything coming out of Nashville and is currently being played on radio stations across the country.

Currently Adrienne is in the studio recording her 4th solo CD. This particular album is filled with songs about her experiences in relationships. Some songs are exhilarating love songs, some are heart wrenching power rock ballads, while others show her feisty side. Regardless of the subject matter, her music and her voice is enticing and filled with beautiful melodies that brings her listeners into another world entirely.
