Amanda Cohen's album, "A New Standard" will be released on November 26, 2014 right before the American Thanksgiving. This date was intentionally set to give thanks to the
legends who recorded songs that makeup The Great American Songbook. To give thanks and a pay a debt of gratitude to these extraordinary artists, this album features signature songs by; Frank Sinatra (Birth of the Blues & That’s Life) Tony Bennett (I Left My Heart in San Francisco) Sophie Tucker (Some Of These Days / After You’ve Gone) Judy Garland & Al Jolson (Rock A Bye Your Baby With A Dixie Melody) Patti Page (The Tennessee Waltz) Jane Froman (With A Song In My Heart & I Believe) Al Jolson & Jimmy Roselli (Let Me Sing and I’m Happy). Also on the album is an original, "When Does The Hurtin Stop", the first release aspiring to create "A New Standard".
