AMERICAN BLOOMERS RELEASE 'THE END OF THE WORLD IS THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING'


Los Angeles based American Bloomers are set to release their 2nd EP. The band is a sister-brother duo, songwriting siblings Jane Sheldon and Jonathan Sheldon (vocals, guitars and pianos).

The band has clocked many miles on the road as part of the "Bring Hollywood Home Tour" which culminated with a benefit concert in Los Angeles. The band performed live on KPIG-FM, and later an area gig. Mac McDonald of the Monterey Herald particularly liked their "sweet harmonies, as nice as can be".

American Bloomers have songs included in the PBS Special "My Future Baby" as well as the forthcoming feature film "The Culling".
The band has also played live on The Andy Dick Show.

Jonathan Sheldon was signed to MCA Records as lead singer/songwriter of his band Naked, which had a Top 10 single on the Billboard Rock Chart with "Mann's Chinese" and Hot AC radio play with "Raining On The Sky". Jonathan has a unique career having also produced many well regarded independent films as well as owning and managing a post production company.

Jane Sheldon studied songwriting at the prestigious Berkelee College of Music, released solo EP produced by Rick Boston (Ricki Lee Jones) and has had song placements on MTV.
