Lazy Days
LAZY DAYS (Scheinman) Red Rudy Too Tunes/BMI 3:49

You know it’s way too early
To be out of bed
It’s gotta be five in the morning
And anybody up must be out of their heads
I could be skipping work
Getting into deeper trouble
Curled up with a real good book
Back in bed all comfortable

Lazy days something that we’re all dreaming of
Lazy days why do we got to work so much
Lazy days society’s out there to bust your butt
But I got me a weeks vacation
Hell I can’t complain

Back on the train
Pulling into the station
And it’s about to rain
And I got no umbrella
And if I turn around
I’ll catch hell you can best believe
Yea I could be Florida bound
Catchin hell on an ocean breeze

Lazy days something that we’re all dreaming of
Lazy days why do we got to work so much
Lazy days society’s out there to bust your butt
But I got me a weeks vacation
Hell I can’t complain

I’m not the only one
Who’d rather be at home
Drink in hand TV on
Soakin up some of that summer sun

But the world keeps turning
Everybody needs more and more
Tobacco, oil, and health insurance
Ain’t that what we’re living for
I could be skipping work
And getting into deeper ****
With the wife and family
You just suck it up and deal with it

Lazy days something that we’re all dreaming of
Lazy days why do we got to work so much
Lazy days society’s out there to bust your butt
But I got me a weeks vacation
Hell I can’t complain
No I can’t complain
