Rivers Rising

Didn’t know it was in me till you saw the lightning in my eyes
Half a curse and a blessing to have control over the skies
The stillness that surrounds us says there’s much more to come
Feel the rush of the moment with this tempest on the run

Now the rain’s pouring down and there ain’t no end in sight
With this storm all around lightning flashes through the night

Black clouds on the horizon, and the river' s rising
