Walk His Way

Met a man on the road today,
I just had to laugh when I heard him say
Theres no heaven, theres no God to trust,
Its just a way for them to take control of us
And I turned to walk away,

I shook my head as he rattled on
then he came to me and asked me what was wrong
If theres no heaven nor a God to trust,
why you standing here making such a fuss
And he turned to walk away but I had to stand and say,

I ve been to the River with a man called Jesus
This man who washed my sins away
This Man who came and then he died for me
And he rose up from the Grave
Im going to walk his way

Theyre going to come to you with arguments
Trying to convince you of the things they say
(But) if youve got Jesus you got experience
And experience beats arguments any day


The man sat down and began to cry
There were pools of tears falling from his eyes
I said, Brother if you really want to change
See, I know the Son and that can be arranged

Its time to go to the River with Jesus
Its time to wash the sins away
Its time to know the One who died for you
Its time to rise up and proclaim
That Im going to walk His Way
