Rooted in Traditional Country Music, Justin has a soulful sound while staying true to the idea of a genuine country music song. Some have said his sound is a blend of Alan Jackson, George Strait and Don Williams. He has been recognized by people for enjoying his style though they don't listen to other country music.

Justin has also harnessed the craftsmanship of songwriting over the last twenty years. He has always applied thoughtfulness and compassion in writing melodic material with meaning, without worry of conforming to mainstream media. Whether a different angle on love or heartache, marriage or death, happiness or loneliness, his writing style was never about a formula, rather always about something that can be truly applied in life.

While his musical interests are far beyond traditional country, such as bluegrass, folk, blues, big band, Latin and much more, it was traditional country that got him hooked on singing and songwriting.

"Songwriting for me is my chance to write my version of a mini-movie in life, except I only have a few minutes for it to be played. So I truly do try to find different ways to get an idea across in a manner that, perhaps, has never been explored. I thrive on the thought of being able to move someone, help someone or even change someones life with one of my songs," said Justin.
