Clementine
This is the tale of Clementine, adapted from the traditional folk song known as Oh My Darling Clementine, that was written in 1884 by Percy Montrose who supposedly adapted it from the song Down the River Liv'd a Maiden written by Henry S. Thompson.

While the origin of the original melody is unknown, it is speculated to be from an old Spanish ballad that was sung by Mexican miners in the California Gold Rush.

Now I offer you yet a different take on the melody with a traditional country music approach.
