From the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Blanco, Texas, Gene and LaVada are now writing and performing music that can open hearts to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!

After completing a yearlong study of the Bible in 2001, Gene began being inspired to write gospel songs. The duo began singing the songs in church making an impact on their church congregation. They began to see that they did, indeed, have a music ministry in the making!

Gene and LaVada have recorded three 'country style' gospel albums, the first of which was recorded at BGM Studios in San Antonio, TX. Titled, "In God's Time," it was produced by Grammy Award winning musician & western swing favorite, Bobby Flores, who played all the fiddle, mandolin and guitar parts. The second project, "Set Free," was produced by renowned gospel recording producer, Kevin McManus, of Oak Valley Studios, Nashville, TN. And, their latest, "At the Speed of Love" was produced by Rob Tripp at The Family Room in Gallatin, TN. In 2005 they were endorsed by Christian Music Presenters, Inc., of Nashville, TN.

You can find them ministering with their testimony, teaching about bible prophecy and how it relates to modern day Israel and singing their original songs or old favorites at church services, revivals, camp meetings, gospel festivals, Christian coffee houses, or wherever God opens the door!
