About Michael Dyer
Michael Dyer is a singer/songwriter who, for many years, wrote songs only for his own pleasure and to maintain his own sanity. Then, in 2006, he began arranging and producing his backlog of songs. The end result was that in 2007 he released three CDs.

Most of Michael's songs involve love and relationships but some songs are about a search for enlightenment. Some of his listeners have referred to these songs as "mystical rock" (The Trek, Down to the Shore Tonight, Do You Want The You, The Coming Day). Other song themes include: war ('Mid Moss-Covered Boulders), youth vs. age (Young Old Man), the environment (EarthSong), and time (Our Unwinding Time). Some songs tell a story (Aboriginal Angel) while others have a Dylanesque quality (You Gotta Weep). Some songs are somewhat Santana-ish (So Imminent) while others a mostly folk-rock (The Dawn Is Still, Coasting The Crying Birds). Some are a bit bluesy (Nothing Seems Like What It Seems) while others are more pop-rock (What's The Right Avenue?).

Michael Dyer earns his living as an educator and on the side enjoys the craft of Venetian-style glass-blowing. Some of his glass creations appear on the covers of his albums.
