INTERNATIONAL RECORDING ARTIST, ALEXX CALISE RELEASES SECOND ALBUM
April 12, 2010 -- LOS ANGELES, CA -- Twenty-four-year-old Los Angeles-based singer, guitarist and songwriter, Alexx Calise has just released her sophomore album, "In Avanti".

Written and recorded over the last 3 years, "In Avanti" is a high energy "rocktronica" collaboration between Alexx Calise and Grammy-nominated producer, Luigie Gonzalez. The 9-song album is available for download exclusively at alexxcalise.com, and will be made available to all major online media outlets in the upcoming weeks.

Already being hailed as the female equivalent of Linkin Park, Calise is best known for her poignant lyrics, howling vibrato and stellar guitar chops. Since releasing her debut album, "Morning Pill" in 2007, her music has been in heavy rotation on MTV and VH1, she has been featured in Blender, Singer & Musician and Guitar World magazines, and she has been touring extensively throughout the United States. Most recently, Calise's song, "Morning Pill" was used in a One Tree Hill promo.

FEMALE ROCKER, ALEXX CALISE TO RELEASE LONG-AWAITED SECOND RECORD
November 30, 2009 -- LOS ANGELES, CA -- International female singer, guitarist and songwriter, Alexx Calise will be releasing her highly anticipated second album in January of 2010. Calise will also be releasing the debut album from her other project with drummer/songwriter, Dennis Morehouse, Sound of Cancer (exact dates TBD).

The 24-year-old rocker's as-of-yet untitled solo record will feature a collection of uptempo, cutting edge "rocktronica" tracks co-written and produced with Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter, Luigie Gonzalez, while her Sound of Cancer record, co-written and produced with Dennis Morehouse obviously taps into her much darker side, with its existential themes and haunting melodies.

Called "one hot up-and-coming indie artist" by bigwig Boston radio station, Kiss 108 FM, Calise is best known for her poignant lyrics and stellar guitar chops.
