Beeb Birtles is a founding member of Australia's Little River Band. His unique vocal style was a cornerstone of the band's legendary harmonies that produced 12 Top 30 hits, including unforgettable songs such as "Happy Anniversary," "Reminiscing," "Lady," "Lonesome Loser," "Cool Change," and, "Take It Easy On Me." For eight years, he rode the wave of success that took him to every corner of the globe, until he left the band in October, 1983, to pursue songwriting and other interests.

In 1992, Beeb Birtles came with his family from Melbourne, Australia, to the United States, and they settled near Nashville a year later. In 1998, he formed Sonic Sorbet Records with his partner, Bill Cuomo, with whom he was reunited 15 years after Cuomo's appearance on LRB's "Time Exposure" LP. Beeb's solo CD, "Driven By Dreams," marks the label's first release, and his music is reflective of Sonic Sorbet's commitment to quality and artistic expression.
