Biography

Cheryl and Richard Patrick are the creators of "Blue Maggie", with her signature style rhythm mandolin and his driving bass. Vocals and lyrics are a combination of efforts by both of them. Accompanying them is Stevenson Page on their first CD "Heart for the Hills". Their second CD "The Nearest Way",includes the multi-talented Brent Stapleton on guitar and banjo. The three draw on years of playing and performing. They are West Virginia's "biggest-little bluegrass band".

Most of thier work is now focused on writing, recording and producing. Their second CD "The Nearest Way" released in mid-March, 2009 and was featured on World Wide Bluegrass, debuted in Australia with Geoff Morris.

"Cigarettes and Black Coffee" was played by Wichita Rutherford on XM and Serius Satelite Radio, kicking off his series featuring unsigned bands.
