“Redneck Cheer” Spreads Across the Country with Floyd Tolston’s New Album and Single Release
“I just love this guy! I know for country music lovers, Floyd Tolston is as real as it gets these days! A real winner again!” said Scott D Soderberg, operations manager and program director at KAUS U-S Country 99.9 in Austin, Minn.

Since the release of “Something Special,” Tolston has scored regional and national attention. The album went to No. 21 on the Roots Music Report True Country Chart. In addition to producing “Lookin’ Back at Luckenbach,” his first national charting single, “Something Special” contained his classic “Wal-Mart Lovers” and “Everybody’s Got’em a Song.” In 2009, Texas honky-tonker Ed Burleson released “Mexico,” a cover of “Everybody’s Got’em a Song.”

“Floyd is an entertainer and storyteller. Often times about subjects no one dares approach but we all consider,” said Justin Frazell of The Justin Frazell Show and Texas Red Dirt Roads at KFWR in Fort Worth, Texas. “Whether he sings his songs with deep messages or sings those others just to have fun, it’s a refreshing and unique approach I have enjoyed over the years.”
