LIfe Is Much Too Short (To Play Games)
Life Is Much Too Short
(Too Play Games)
Since becoming old enough to really understand the finality of death and the limited time that we have in life upon this earth, it has become increasingly perplexing to me how we take the people who we claim to love so much, or those who we truly love so much for granted; under the false impression that we or they will be available long enough to make things right over time.
We have a tendency to make promises that we know, we do not intend to keep.
We enter into relationships with very little or no regard for the wants, needs and desires of the other human beings involved in those relationships.
We fail to help those who we are capable of helping that cannot help themselves. And, we throw the words Friend, Family, Love and Togetherness around like they are toys to be played with rather than concepts that can hurt or heal dependent upon the manner in which they are used.
This is why it is very important that we use our time wisely while living, by recognizing just how fragile our life and the lives of those who we truly love really are.
Life is but a vapor.
Life is but a mist.
Therefore, it is important that we as human beings realize that we and the people that we love are nothing more than vapors and mists with hopes, dreams, feelings and needs that have to be met; and that the distance between Time and Eternity is just one event away.
No one’s perfect, including me.
However, we can do better than we are currently doing.
Treat the ones you love right now. Because once they are gone or you are gone, it is impossible to right a wrong that should have been avoided in the first place.
This song is a plea to all people who understand the true nature and purpose of life to live accordingly, and to avoid the people who won’t for your own personal benefit and for the benefit of the planet as a whole.
